We recently completed our Kashmir trip with Traveling Folks Travel Company, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable journeys of our lives.
First of all, a heartfelt thanks to Pakeeza Ma’am for her outstanding support and coordination. She carefully understood our requirements and designed a perfectly customized trip plan at a very reasonable price. Everything was well managed, from hotel stays to sightseeing, and her quick assistance throughout the trip made us feel completely relaxed and stress-free.
One of the most special parts of our trip was our stay in a beautiful houseboat on Dal Lake. It was such a unique and peaceful experience — waking up in the middle of the lake surrounded by calm water and mountains felt like a dream. The hospitality on the houseboat was excellent, and it added a royal touch to our Kashmir journey.
We also enjoyed a complimentary Shikara ride, which was absolutely amazing. Floating peacefully on Dal Lake while enjoying the stunning views was unforgettable. The Shikara ride took us to Meena Bazar, where we explored the floating market and experienced the local culture closely. It was such a joyful and unique experience that we will always cherish.
A special mention to our driver, Irfan Bhai, who was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He guided us perfectly throughout the trip and ensured we were comfortable at every location. He took us for the Srinagar city tour and to breathtaking destinations like Sonmarg, Gulmarg, and the most beautiful and peaceful place, Doodhpathri. Doodhpathri especially was the highlight of our trip — a truly mesmerizing and memorable spot.
Overall, everything was perfectly organized, budget-friendly, and smooth from start to finish.
